Yes, I was tagged by Lara, too.

• I felt transported back to my childhood when I got the chance to see Casino Royal with my Dad.
• Be careful to make sure that the insta read thermometer is set to Fahrenheit and not Celsius when you are cooking your bird for Thanksgiving. I almost went into cardiac arrest but it turned out alright with a little help from Mom and Dad.
• Doing a quick about face when you spot your ex at the mall is not exactly the coolest or most subtle move. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.
• I have not bought a single Christmas gift yet and have no thoughts as to what to purchase. This is not a good sign.
• Coming back to work on Monday after being off for almost a week sucks!
• I am glad that the temperature seems to have taken a turn. There is nothing better than sweater weather!
• I love that the holiday movie season has officially kicked off. Maybe it will make up for the poor summer showings.
• I just realized that I haven’t purchased any new music in forever. I gotta get my butt in gear.
• I found a great tennis racket program where I can try out 2 demo rackets each week for a month. It is just $30 and then I can apply the money to a new racket.
• Playing monopoly with the hubby on game cube each night does not help going to sleep at a reasonable hour.

I have waited almost a solid week before posting anything on the recent elections and subsequent Democratic takeover of the Congress. Well as most of you know, I am just giddy with excitement and almost disbelief that the Republican machine didn't steal this one too. Mind you, I have no doubt that there was some shady machinations going on but apparently too many people voted for the Dems to make a difference. How refreshing!

After reading and watching the election wrap ups and aftershocks, Rumsfeld weenie roast anyone, I have to say watching Bushie backpedal is quite entertaining. It is like watching a 5 year old getting a time out. After endless bullying, not sharing, holding his breath, and screaming, NO, NO, I won't do it, you can't make me; his best buddy gets expelled. Now little George is willing to play nice on the playground and promises to work well with others if they include him in all their reindeer games.

Lets see if how long it will last :)

Yes, my friends it is a new post! I know it has been a long while since you have had the privilege of reading my witty, snarky and very insightful musings. Have you missed them? Really, it's okay, you can admit it.

Well, after what can only be summed up as the most boring October in recent memory, I can finally add some notes to my poor neglected little blog. I suppose that boring is better than drama central but it certainly makes for a dry blog spell.

So I am going to kick off the new blog season with Claudia's list of the best things ever! Okay, I'll be fair...best things this week.

1. Scott's anti-snore mask. Oh my god! It truly is the best thing ever. It is fan..frickin..tastic! I can actually sleep in the same bed as my husband without constantly hitting him or getting pissed off. Why did it take 6 mos. for him to finally get the thing. One word (as I shake my head): HUSBANDS! (interchangeable with: MEN!)

2. Actually part of #1 but I am calling it 2, seeing my hubby in his little get up is hysterical. I swear it looks like he is deep sea diving. A riot!

3. Habitat for Humanity Home Store. I just found this little gem yesterday. It is a store that has extras that weren't used in a Habitat home and most items are at least half off. They also have a lot of donated used items as well so it can be hit and miss what you can find but there are some amazing steals in there. I bought a beautiful 4ft. x 3ft framed and matted print that fits perfectly in my front living room for 78bucks! You can't even buy a frame that size for $78!! They have some gorgeous front doors, tile, even packs of pergo flooring. What tops it off as a great find is all proceeds go back to habitat for humanity. It is located in south phoenix. Check it out.
